Massage Land policies
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. We respectfully request a cancellation notice at least 24 hours before your appointment if you are unable to attend.
CANCELLATION POLICY (MORE THAN 24 HOURS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT)
All clients will receive an appointment confirmation via email 7 and 3 days prior to your appointment time. We understand that your schedule may have changed and you’re unable to make your original appointment time. The confirmation email will include a cancellation link to make the process as seamless as possible. There will be no penalty for a cancellation more than 24 hours prior to your appointment as this gives us enough time to be respectful of other clients’ needs and enables us to give the appointment time to another person who needs to visit us.
LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION (LESS THAN 24 HOURS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT)
All clients will receive an appointment confirmation via email 7 and 3 days prior to your appointment time. You will also receive a text message 1 day prior to your appointment with a final appointment confirmation plus a link to cancel your appointment if you’re unable to make your scheduled appointment. This is your last opportunity to cancel your appointment without any penalties. If you are unable to make your appointment and fail to cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will be charged 50% of your appointment fee and you will be charged at your next appointment.
LATE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. If you are late, you will still be charged the full fee of your original booking time. Please understand that we are a busy clinic and cannot afford to run over into other patient’s sessions.
NO SHOW
If you do not attend your appointment and fail to let us know in advance, we will charge you 100% of your scheduled appointment fee. We highly respect our clients’
needs and your missed appointment could have been given to someone who urgently needs to visit us. To prevent further no shows, you will be expected to pay in advance for any future appointments. Please call the clinic to organise an appointment after a no show as you will be unable to book via the website.
PATIENT INTAKE FORM
All patients must complete and submit a patient intake form prior to their appointment time. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete the patient intake form when booking your appointment.
DATA COLLECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY
We use a third party platform, Cliniko, to make sure all information shared between patient and therapist is stored and transmitted securely. All information is strictly confidential. We have chosen to use Cliniko as it has a security system embedded in the software system and is highly regarded and used by many health professionals and practices. Cliniko meets or exceeds all regulations of the Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR, PIPEDA, and HIPAA.
